I just want to share a creative use case for the Flic buttons. I am a huge Google Analytics geek and try to measure everything I can. But up until now, mainly on websites.

With the introduction of the Flic buttons I can now measure events in the real world and track the data in Google Analytics. I am using Flic buttons to track when someone in the house takes a Pepsi (or other sodas) in the fridge. When the buttons is pushed, I send an event to Google Analytics which can then be displayed in Google Data Studio.

I wrote an step-by-step blogpost about it (in Danish) here: http://www.jacobworsoe.dk/cola-google-analytics-flic-buttons/

Hope it can inspire the Flic community to do more awesome things with the Flic button.

This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm sure this could inspire other users.
Would you consider translating the article and publishing it in English? I'd love to send you a Flic button (color of your choice) in return. I'd also like to share it on our social media afterward, so let me know if you're interested!
