I'm new to Flic but have created a simple plugin and documented some of the troubleshooting tips I used while developing it.

The plugin runs an arbitrary shell script (configurable by editing execute.sh) that can be stored outside the plugins directory and therefore more easily included in a version control system and a backup regime.
