I have two flic buttons which are constantly in standby. This happens no matter how close to my flic hub they are or how new the battery is. What gives? And how do I stop this from happening?

I have 6 buttons and a twist. It’s insane. They’re basically decorations at this point because they never work.

My hub LR is connected to WiFi and in the same room as all the buttons (I’ve tried resetting it, didn’t help)

When I go to the app I click the hub and every time it says “connecting” and loads a second later (that might be normal, idk) and then if I click execute through the app it works, but none of the buttons work. I get red blinks when clicking.

I thought I fixed it a few weeks ago, but then it stopped working shortly after.

Please help or just refund me. I’ve already wasted enough time on these products and spent hundreds of dollars.

When you press the button, it should connect immediately and deliver its button event. If not, make sure you don't have too many active Bluetooth connections on your phone.

Ive looked into all the forums.
I have 4 and use them to control lights, they are pretty much pointless if you have to stand there and keep pressing the button

I agree that usually the Flic connects, but not every time. Is there a reason a Flic disconnects from the hub?

The three of six buttons I use most regularly are the ones doing this. Two of the three are also the very close to the hub... Out of curiosity, does connecting the hub to the router directly work better than using it over wifi?

But it should connect as soon as you press the button. If the button does not connect, you need to tell if the LED on the Flic is lighting up or not when it's pressed, and if so with what colour and what pattern.

@Emil is there any guidance? I've only had these (6) for a couple of months and can't imagine it's a battery issue. I've tried restarting the hub, but that didn't solve anything.
