Unfortunately, I didn't download the app before the purchase so I didn't know the list of brands it can be connected to is quite limited. The way it was advertised as a 'smartest button' I thought it would work with any smart bulb. So I bought a LIFX bulb which didn't work because it would stop working every time my phone will go dark. Seemed to be a connection issue between the bulb and its app rather than with Flic but I returned it anyway. Got a Hue bulb next but it can't be connected unless you have a Hue bridge! I don't want to spend another £50 to just control one light! And it seems that all other available connections on Flic's list have to be a hub of some kind so LIFX was the only 'bulb only' option. I even looked into FTTT but no luck. Quite desperate at this point as 14 have passed and I can't return the button anymore. Can someone please advise on a 'bulb only' setup that would work with a Flic button (no Flic hub)?

Flic communicates with the Lifx bulb without the Lifx app, so it will still work if you shut it down.

Other lights that work with Flic than the one we support directly go through for example Alexa or IFTTT.
