Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to use a flic button as a page turner in the Kindle App? I like to read while on the treadmill so being able to turn the page without needing to reach out to touch my iPad would be a real bonus.

I would never have found that as I thought that only worked for the iBooks app itself.

Is there any way to stop the sound every time it turns the page (I have a visual impairment so use very large print, meaning I turn the page every few seconds, which means the sound can get quite annoying…)

Many thanks

It’s great to have a page turner for Kindle.

The action you want is iBooks.

How I have mine programmed:

Single: Phone Control | iBooks | Next Page
Double: Phone Control | iBooks | Previous Page
Hold: Phone Control | Lock Screen

Notes:

If you want it to respond faster, use only Single.

When Kindle is Full Screen this will work consistently. However, if Kindle is Split View with another app, it needs to have focus in order to receive the page turn. If Kindle loses it’s focus, I’ve found the most reliable way to bring it back is to open up the Search function in the Kindle app.

This could also be done with keyboard keystrokes and even with Flic Universal Keyboard Commands, but iBooks is the simplest.
