Your Android device doesn't complete the GATT service discovery correctly. I'm not sure why but you could try to clear the Bluetooth cache (https://help.elitehrv.com/article/135-clear-bluetooth-cache-android) and also remove the Flic from the system's Bluetooth list of paired devices, if present there. Also try take out the battery from the Flic and insert it again and reboot your Android device. If that still doesn't work, try a newer Android version than 5.1 (or a device that has a newer Android version) since newer versions have fewer bugs.
