@oskar I also think its really sad, that there was never any follow up considering developer access from your side although this was mentioned in the indiegogo. There you state "basically an advanced Linux computer, much like a better-looking Raspberry Pi, with a two separate Bluetooth controllers (yep, two)" but a bird (in this case the Raspberry Pi) in the hand is worth two in the bush. I would really appreciate having ssh access to the flic hub to do custom scripts. One way would be to provide a standalone linux version so you don't have to worry about security of the platform for yourself. Much like the solution you offer with the fliclib-linux-hci on github where you can run your own flic server. I was hoping this would happen with the flic hub too.

It should work as long as you don't toggle Bluetooth, exit & enter airplane mode etc. At least that's what Apple says. If it doesn't work, then Apple has a bug.

You can pair the button to multiple devices and assign the same config. But the button itself can only be connected to one device at a time. So if you have two paired devices nearby and the button has gone to sleep, when you then press the button, it will connect to the device that responds quickest.

@Emil I'm having issues with setting up the new hub I just received.
I have successfully added it to my network using Ethernet NOT WiFi.
I have added it to my phone successfully, but once it's added and I click on the hub icon, it states "Loading Configuration" then "Authorizing Credentials", both of which are successful...then it just times out.

Now I'm suspicious that I need to be closer to the hub the change any settings...

Bluetooth is in no way shape of form superior, to me being able to wander my home, with my cell phone on WiFi and configure and control things.
Please don't tell me that everytime I want to change a setting I have to be close?

Yes, I have something similar – but I think it's the Flic Hub losing connectivity, not the Philips Hue connection per se. My Flic is on Wifi and I think, for some reason, the DHCP lease doesn't renew properly, cutting off Flic's connectivity. I've had two hubs now, and they both behave the same.

Have you tried just rebooting the Flic hub, rather than resyncing the Hue, to see if that fixes it? If it does, then it sounds like the same behaviour as mine – and I'd suggest there is a problem with the Flic Hub.
