Flic buttons for Homey cloud based?

I use Flic buttons around the house for different things. I noticed that the ones that trigger Homey Flows are not working when the internet is down.
I thourght they were connected locally. Do they use cloud connection to trigger Homey Flows?
I have a Flic Hub and a Homey Pro 2023.

@j that is the simplest way to get automatic access to your flows. You can probably set up your manual web hooks if you want, using the http request action, but you need to manually enter the url.

Ahh so thats why. Thank you for clarifying.
Is there a reason for this? Homey supports webhooks.

@j the homey action is cloud based. The Flic Hub communicates directly with the Homey cloud servers.
