Is there really no way to talk to developers in private? Is there no way to return the product? The one feature i wanted from the device isn't supported so the product does not meet my needs but i don't see any way to talk to developers to voice my concerns.

well all i needed flic to do was to interface with an android device accessibility options to act as a switch but flic doesnt show up as a bluetooth device therefore cant be used as a switch to control the device. I did find the warranty policy but i did not find a way to return the product. where do you click to start the return process?

If you feel like you want to return the product then please contact support@shortcutlabs.com and they will help you out. Regarding HID functionally on Android we really wanted to add support for that, but unfortunately we could not do that since Android has some stability issues with HID devices.

you just have to download the flic app in the app store/google play store and the open the app and press the flic.. if bluetooth is enabled on you android device, and it is bluetooth 4 and not older.. then it should
pickup the flic and be able to use it.. i have 9 flicks now, and 8 of them are in use now.. looking forward for more functions..

update. so you need an option to be ON/OFF in android accessibility settings.. well i don't have an android device so i can't test but it should be possible but my guess is that someone else than flic would have to make an app that supports flic buttons.. don't think that part is or will be on the flic dev teams roadmap.. but i do think you can get an widget for it for android so that setting is on the home screen.

I don’t know how you came to that conclusion, but of course you can get in contact with us. If it really needs to be private then you can just send in an email to support@shortcutlabs.com and it will be forwarded to whoever best can answer your question.

If it does not have to be private then you can just post the question under the Developers section here at this forum. If it is a question directly related to any of our frameworks or example code then you can submit an issue directly to a repository over at our GitHub page.

Regarding the return of a product, take a look at our Warranty Policy at the bottom of our main page.
