Totally misled in backing Flic Twist units!

I can see that I am not the only one that was duped by Shortcut Labs into backing and buying the Flic Twist buttons. They promised "Effortless integration with your existing smart home ecosystem" (Their words from the website, not mine) after they were delivered I find out that they will NOT work with Homekit (as their simple Flic buttons do) and they will NOT work with all ecosystems! I have at least 20 Feit bulbs which I thought would be able to be controlled by the twist and they are not even supported. Really sad that I have 3 very expensive new doorstops and Shortcut Labs doesn't seem to be forthcoming about the lack of integrations. Do better! When will we see a list of smart apps that will be able to integrate into the Flic Twist environment and how long will we have to wait to actually see them work? I already waited two years just to receive these things!!

@Emil If you would simply update the SDK to support all flic twist features and operations, we could sort things out ourselves, one way or another. All of the functionality exists in the Hub LR for other integrations (albeit, extremely few, but it is still there), so it doesn't seem like you can't, it just seems like it won't. It was said Matter is the priority. Well, Matter seems to be going nowhere, so can we please at least get the functionality we were promised and paid for in the meantime? I should not have to beg to get what I paid for.
Why will no one give any sort of update, or tell us what is going on? That is the very least you could do. It is incredibly frustrating.
There are many companies out there who have delays, timeline adjustments, whatever else.
In this situation, there are two types of companies. Good companies, and bad ones.
What to the good companies do? They offer transparency, they give updates, they try and work out solutions.
What do the bad companies do? They give useless vague information or say nothing, and give excuses.
I have yet to hear any useful updates, or solutions. Yes, Matter took/is taking longer than you expected for whatever reasons. Ok, so that means 'oh well, too bad' for everyone? I don't understand why you can't just update the SDK. Why don't I understand? Because no one has told us why or why not. If you can't do it, say so. If you can do it, say why you won't.

Mine arrived today and I'm hugely disappointed with the complete lack of integration with HomeKit. I understand the issue that HomeKit does not support dimmer controls, but why do you not expose the click functions, to mimic the original button functionality? The suggestion below to expose the 12 selector are 12 individual buttons to HomeKit also makes huge sense and should be considered.
I have a Sonos system I cn use these with but can only control the volume and select native Sonos playlists. I only use the Sonos to access Apple Music playlists and radio stations, so cannot use this until those functions are supported.
You website is still describing the twist as offering "Effortless integration with your existing smart home ecosystem". How can you justify such a statement when it clearly does not work with HomeKit, unlike the swarm of existing flic buttons I am already using?

@Emil Well, can you at least allow us to make the presses work like the do on the normal flic buttons?
I'm also very disappointed that Homekit isn't supported, but I get that Apple doesn't support dimmers. However, I don't think theres a reason the "clicking part" of the Twist should be worse than Flic 2.
@phiche the intention is that Matter would be the savior here, but the adoption of that protocol as well as the release of the Matter specification 1.0 have unfortunately been heavily delayed. Two years ago, we assumed most devices should have implemented Matter at the end of 2023.
It seems that Feit have in their plans to support Matter according to https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/5/23292476/lifx-smart-lighting-feit-electric-new-products. When they are done (and we too), the Twist should be able to control their lights.
Homekit for Flic Twist is unfortunately currently not an option for us to implement, since Homekit does not support rotational devices as input devices.
