smarthings support for twist
-
Could we get an idea when the twist functionality will support smartthings (for dimming lights) please? To me this is curcial - and I beleive many people looking to implement these devices will use a home automation platform (like smartthings) with multiple device types/brands rather than a single bulb product (like philips). The integration must be possible because when I connect my Google home hub to smartthings it shows me the current dim value with interface to slide the value up and down. Also intersted if the twist could support Harmony remote (to adjust volume). Many thanks.

@Emil - both seem to be available - not sure which Google Home uses (assume direct): https://developer.smartthings.com/docs/devices/direct-connected/get-started/

@stephen_mallett Seems like a good idea. Do you know if it's cloud based or LAN based?
Right now the only method to control Smartthings is by triggering a "scene". So you can e.g. use Advanced Dimming with Flic Twist to trigger a scene at every step. Then you need to map each scene in Smartthings to dim your light at the specific level.

@Emil - within the Google home app - it adds a graphic which shows the current value and allows you slide around which instantly dims my smarthings lights.

Do you mean that you can slide the value in the Google home app or the Smartthings app?
