I know it used to work, then stopped.
But I saw that Google introduced a Script Editor recently, and while discussing with Gemini it suggested there might be a way to trigger an action through that channel.
For example: click a flic and light up a google home roome, turn off a camera or whats not.
Interested in what anyone has been able to do with the google home.
thanks

flic with MagicMirrorposted in User Stories
Wanted to be able to change the layout of my MagicMirror with flic: one click to get the standard, view, two clicks to get more details on what matter to me, hold to have the MagicMirror be very quiet.
You can find more details on:- github: da4throux/MMM-flic
- on the MMM forum
To do that I leveraged the Linux SDK provided by flic.

Is Tradfri Ikea still suppose to work with Tradfri Hub ?posted in Flic Hub
Hi,
waiting for the Flic 2, I decided to reset one of my flic to control some Ikea lights. I still could see the hub in my Flic hub settings, but neither clicking the flic or executing through the hub app worked. More over, the lights names were old, so I tried to refresh (without success), removed the Ikea provider...
and now I cannot simply add it anymore.
Is it an integration which is still supposed to work (I do hope so, having many Ikea lights...). -
RE: Flic HUB external IR requestsposted in Flic Hub
IR commands can be numerous, sometimes in sequence so more than controlling everything through a button, it could be easier to control it through an assistant in some cases.
As mentioned IFTTT would be a great way to expose the IR provider as an action in IFTTT (or through a virtual flic buton if that makes things easier) -
RE: Hub IR feature requestsposted in Flic Hub
@kris completely agree on the possibility to use it as an action through IFTTT.
Maybe through virtual flic, if that makes it easier. -
RE: IR setup?posted in Flic Hub
@hans-0 same feeling on my side...
But eventually I found it: in the provider menu (where there is IFTTT and so on), there is an IR provider. Select it and configure it there. Now that I have this, I miss that I cannot activate IR through other means than a flic buton. I wish I could just use the IR provider as the that of an IFTTT recipe, but could not find a way to do that yet.
