@petter-landing-0r the red LED blinking typically indicates low battery. Did you try a fresh one?

Hi,
I was at the search for a ultimate solution to make the life of my father easier. He barely can see a thing on his feature phone (smartphone is a no-go due to the age approaching 100) so I figured, I will use another SIM in old Android phone, hide it in the box where it will be permanently charged, on top of the box I would slap a Jabra Speak2 55 connected over BT to the phone and permanently charged from the charger used by the phone. Under Jabra I wanted to slap 5 flics, each with large picture of the family member above it, so he could simply look at the picture and press the corresponding button to intihate a phone call to that person (handsfree , as it would go over loudspeaker of Jabra). On each of the sides of Jabra I intended to place one flic - on the red background on the left to end calls and on the green background on the right side to answer incoming calls.
So, this can be probably done in several ways, but I wanted the solution which will be robust, easy to set up and easy to scale (I am thinking of replacing his TV remote with 6-10 flics and IR blaster, so he can turn on his favourites channels without looking for the magnifing glass in order to operate the remote). I did not want to invest time into learning the coding, scripting, combining different eco systems, soldering and all the other stuff. I wanted it to be EASY and VERSATILE. Turned out that flic should be the answer, and I was happy to pay premium (flic is at the very top of the consumer level solutions) for EASY and VERSATILE.
And... dear people of flic and dear potential customers... in the flic ecosystem there is an option to START the call (so calling is covered), there is a option to HANG UP the call (so ending a call or rejecting it is easy), but, for reasons beyond my cognitive capabilities, there is no option to ANSWER the call.
Why?
It is not technical limitation, because it can be done in Tasker, but I chose flic to avoid Tasker and paying for Tasker. I also chose flic to avoid combining different solutions. Therfore I can't, really can't understand why there is an option to generate fake calls, or generate farts, but actual calling is limited to dialing or rejecting the call... I think answering the call is obvious and fairly logical component of calling experience... Or am I getting something wrong?
Please flic, I just purchased over 600 EUR of your products and I would really like to know the answer why you chose to do it this way? Are you going to fix it?
Cheers

I bought 3 buttons + hub ~3 years ago. Worked most of the time the first 2 years, then they became very flaky and unreliable, so I unplugged the hub.
I'm trying again now, as it was quite cool product and want to give it another chance.
One of the buttons disconnects after few minutes: I keep pressing on it for ~10 seconds (trying to make it recognized by the hub), it blinks red. After 3-4 attempts, it finally blinks green twice, and the controller then works. I can use it few times in a row, but if I let it rest for 1 or 2 minutes, I have to do the long press dance again (red blinks..). I'm 1 meter from the hub -> totally unusable.
The 2 other buttons can stand a little bit longer (~10 minutes, 2 hours) before I have to reconnect them as well (long press with red blinking)
The hub is running firmware 4.5.0.
Any idea?
