@Emil I found something else when tweaking @jitmo's timeout function, but it appears to be a flic documentation issue:

ir.cancelRecord() results in a "TypeError: not a function" message , even though the Hub SDK documentation says it's a valid method; I think the correct method is actually ir.cancel().

(...but please, correct me if I'm wrong!)

When I tap on the virtual devices on iOS, nothing happens, there are no options, I can't delete them. I can add more however.

I have tried tap and hold, I have swiped in all directions, quick taps. Not sure how to remove any of these and they seem to persist even after deleting the app and reinstalling. I'm sure they're stored on the hub itself. Would resetting the hub clear them? is there a way through the app to remove Virtual Devices I've previously added?

@Emil Any updates on this being added in natively? Really reduces the usability of the twist without it - and I'd much rather have slight lag than nothing at all.

As a non-programmer, I'd love to attempt Andreas' solution - but it's just slightly above my technical capability!

@sgemmen The hub firmware with Hub SDK support for Flic Duo is pushed out now (version 4.6.0). The documentation is not yet out but you can see an example event here that includes button number, orientation and gesture:

The Flic Twist was delivered today and I tested it right away.

I just noticed this post https://community.flic.io/topic/18577/mqtt-issue-on-firmware-version-4-4-5 and updated Flic Hub to version 4.4.6 which appears to have solved the crash.

@pico We currently use QuickJS and it seems like that js engine does not support that Intl feature.

We might add the feature to set time zone, it can be useful for a few other purposes as well, e.g. in timestamp header for our Internet Request action. But right now I suggest to use the workaround I suggested.

We have just announced a beta release of some new features that allows interaction with the Flic Twist: https://community.flic.io/topic/18536/new-flic-twist-features-for-the-hub-sdk.

@pico The hub checks for updates automatically every 24 hours. Unfortunately there is no history on the device of updates. If there are new features for an update, we typically show those in the changelog of the Android/iOS app.

@pico right now that particular code only acts as a client.

@Emil It would be awesome if you all could add a Global Datastore in the future! If you need any help testing, I would be happy to play with a beta version!

The Govee lights I'm working with are an older model H7013 which are warm white dimmable string lights that support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but that means the integrations are pretty limited to IFTTT which can be slow, and I can't detect the current state. The LAN API is much faster and I can check the current state, which is great.

I've looked into upgrading to newer Matter versions from Govee or anyone else but they are all more expensive than is worth it for me when what I have it working, and many newer models have more features/complexity than I really want (don't want RGB or anything, just want 2700K warm white and dimmable).

PS. For anybody finding this in the future, I also tried setting the StartUpCurrentLevel attribute and that behaves the same as calling MoveToLevel with OptionsOverride set to 1 when the light is off, Matter honors it when turned back on, but Tapo does not.

@tamengua Hi! May I ask how your filetree looks like? Is the mqtt.js file at the right position? And which firmware version does it show in the HubSDK?
