I know this is old, but it's the source I used to get Flic to work the way I needed.

That said, I'm confused by a confirmation requirement.

I use this to Fast Forward my Apple TV 3 minutes (to skip commercials). It works great, but I'm asked for a confirmation if the app isn't on screen.

That-is: if I'm looking at the open Flic app, 1 press will fast forward my TV, but if I'm doing something else with another app, or the phone is locked, I get a banner I need to tap for the action to function.

Why is that? How do I stop the confirmation banner?

@deanlewis how did you get the button open to pull the battery? I can't believe both changing the battery and resetting the device is so difficult; I'm tempted to throw everything out and start over with new ones.

I connect my flic with my Ipad through your App. It is giving a signal of keyboard buttons, like Enter and ESC.

@ryan-0 have you looked at https://flic.io/alexa/setup? The important thing is to add the Alexa action in the Flic app to your button configuration.

@mattias-dahlberg I just set up the first button presses to be simulated keyboard presses and the last third to be a mouse click.

Now Windows recognize it as a keyboard! What's going on? 😃

I am embarrassed to say I overlooked how to do this; I resolve this issue.

@Smellyglove good question. The chip has an internal DC-DC converter so I think will most likely result in the same tx power until depleted. However, when the battery is almost dead there will be much instability and packet losses.

@Emil Hi - someone from flic support replied back to my support case email this morning, so I am good now. Thank you for the response.

This is now resolved.

@Emil understood. Time to get a multimeter then I guess!

@stenr The bluetooth connection has been transfered to the new phone but cannot be activated. Message: An app is required touse this connection. The Flic app is installed....
