@olyckne I got bit by the same thing mentioned here https://community.flic.io/topic/18188/flic-hub-button-unusable-after-ios-16-upgrade

The button is "hidden" in the "default room" which isn't visible in the new home view...
So resetting everything (maybe just readding the button) and creating automations again worked.

Sorry for the late reply! We have not seen any issues related to connectivity with iOS 16.2 so I'm not sure why this happens.

However, there is a workaround that can fix these instabilities and that is to "Enable Location Services" in the Settings. What this does is it is registering the Flic app to be woken up on what iOS calls a "Significant location change". This is a good way to kick the service back into a working state.

It should not really be needed but it has proven to solve these kinds of rare issues before.

One side note is that this will deliver your approximate location to our app and iOS will show you a warning about this but I can assure you that we do not upload this location anywhere, it is purely as a workaround for getting back into a running state.

@ledtear are you using the lifx cloud action or the lifx lan action? Are the lights already on the same wifi (they need to be set up using the lifx app first)? What model of the lifx do you have?

@jtomalley same thing just happened to me. I deleted and re-installed the app and works again

@Emil I don't see that. I can add what each click does in HomeKit but nothing happens.

I know this is old, but it's the source I used to get Flic to work the way I needed.

That said, I'm confused by a confirmation requirement.

I use this to Fast Forward my Apple TV 3 minutes (to skip commercials). It works great, but I'm asked for a confirmation if the app isn't on screen.

That-is: if I'm looking at the open Flic app, 1 press will fast forward my TV, but if I'm doing something else with another app, or the phone is locked, I get a banner I need to tap for the action to function.

Why is that? How do I stop the confirmation banner?

@deanlewis how did you get the button open to pull the battery? I can't believe both changing the battery and resetting the device is so difficult; I'm tempted to throw everything out and start over with new ones.
