FLIC Twist and Matter Plugs (WiFi)
-
Hi there, setting up my FLIC Twist with the goal of dimming my lamps, which are connected to Matter dimmable plugs (Leviton D23LP, if that matters). However, when I select "Brightness", it shows only two devices (Matter wall switches) as selectable. I click on the "Matter" button, and it shows me all of my Matter plugs (as well as the two wall switches) but there's no way to select them.
How can I dim my Dimmable plugs with Twist?

So unless I'm doing something wrong, "Advanced Dimming" isn't working properly for "Matter Other" devices (which is where I have to go to find my dimmable SmartPlugs today). I have the setpoint actions set up identically to the "push" action, but nothing happens when I twist. Push/double push works find, but the actions defined in "Twist" don't trigger anything. I have defined "MoveToLevelWithOnOff" at Level 33, OptionsMask 1, OptionsOverride 1. This works fine on "push", but not on a "Dimming Point"....

I see that we are missing devices of type "Dimmable Plug-In Unit" in the filter for that list. We will add it to the next app update. In the meantime, you can use Advanced Dimming and set each trigger point to execute a Matter action which sets the specific brightness for that percentage.
Thanks Emil! What is the typical app update cadence? If they're every few weeks I'll just wait it out. If they're every few months I may have to figure out "Advanced Dimming" for the time being...
