I need a bit more range for these to be really useful. Does anyone have a range extender solution? Preferably one that will work connected to an iPhone.

Couldn't agree more! BT limits this product in immeasurable ways. There must be a way to extend the range of a button (even when paired to a hub). I get about 40 ft when factoring in walls in my house.

Details maybe a little scarce but I'm hoping the hub addresses this. Anyone know?

Contains "double custom bluetooth chips" !! see https://flic.io/introducing-flic-hub/

Hi ... you can use a Flic-hub once it's released. It was a Indiegogo campaign some months ago.

I asked the same thing about the Hub product a few months ago and got no responses.

This is the failing of all bluetooth sensors/gadgets. Inside a house (with walls, obstacles, and interference) you lose signal pretty fast. They need a cheap BT repeater/range extender to extend coverage through the entire house.
