        @oskar

        Is there any update given the new Flic 2 buttons are out?
        I want to trigger a Siri Shortcut via the button!

          @0curtis0

          /* U P D A T E D - DOES NOT WORK */
          Finally got my buttons
          Unless the Flic software isactive it will not work!!!

          Has nothing to do with initiating Shortcuts, it cannot even launch Safari 😞

          So when executing the widget from the Flic software it's all good, the only way to test scripts without buttons.

          Sorry to have wasted your time, even more sorry that I bought this for me now totally worthless items.

          SO IGNORE THE REST OF THIS POST

          Try making a shortcut with desired actions. Let's say you named it:
          MyShortcutScript

          Create a widget in Flic:

          1. choose media, 2. then Safari
            0_1546465964336_EF458D97-38A1-4106-888B-D6F2AA149855.jpeg

          Then enter URL as

          0_1546466096985_BAF016C8-3003-467F-9EAF-1ECD2712D852.jpeg

          Since I hav'nt yet received my Flic buttons I just simulate a Flic click from the Flic Panel (slightly different example below)

          0_1546466735811_D0655166-6B7D-4D4D-A291-53D7B5915764.jpeg

          Safari does not stay open with this URL, just seem to spark the Shortcut and withdraw.

          Hope it will work for you as well!

            @gva Could you please share your method. There are lots of people who are trying to figure this out so if you've found a way we'd love to hear it! Thanks!

              Are you trying to launch a Siri shortcut from Flic?

              Then I have the solution, took me some time of trial and error and I ordered the Flic buttons first after getting it to work using the Flic and Shortcuts apps.

              I'll be happy to share if triggering a Siri Shortcut from Flic is what you are trying to do. Then again I am new to this so maybe I misunderstood your question 🙂

                Hi!

                I'm sorry to say that Siri is still not possible because of a change that was made to CoreBluetooth in iOS. We still don't know if this was intentional or if it is a bug. Apple has not explicitly said that this is not allowed, but after having submitted bug reports to Apple and getting no response at all we are not very hopeful at this time.

                I'm sorry about this.
