Hi. Have you tried to set up http://postb.in and use such an URL instead? Then you can inspect what the hub sends. We have plans to improve the error handling of HTTP Request but aren't quite there yet.

@anton Two months on, any news on this feature?

I'm postponing my hub purchase until I know it is either available or at the very least imminent.

And please add support for the global “Off” command to turn off all devices regardless of current activity.

Hi @emptythecache, This is a strange issue that requires some troubleshooting, so please send us an email at support@shortcutlabs.com
So others might be informed of the issue, @krisszancs has the same problem and my colleagues are preparing a replacement hub because that one was faulty.

IR commands can be numerous, sometimes in sequence so more than controlling everything through a button, it could be easier to control it through an assistant in some cases.
As mentioned IFTTT would be a great way to expose the IR provider as an action in IFTTT (or through a virtual flic buton if that makes things easier)

@kris completely agree on the possibility to use it as an action through IFTTT.
Maybe through virtual flic, if that makes it easier.

      Excellent news, thanks @Emil
I initially intended to migrate my Flic buttons slowly from my RPi to the hub, but after I accidentally corrupted my Sqlite db containing the flic mappings, it was a rush to get them up and running completely via the hub! Have to say the process was quicker than the SDK 😉

Given the connection and responsiveness of Flic is far greater with the hub, even if the hub isn't doing any actions itself, it's a brilliant upgrade for Flic owners. That being said, half my Flics are operating in the hub actions

@gwpcasey I think we will probably not add that. Why not simply use a power bank or similar if you want it portable?

@joomeng This is not a static IP. It is just reserving a specific IP using DHCP. This won't resolve underlaying problems that occur when there are communication problems during the DHCP operation
