      I'm trying to trigger Alexa with a Flic button and Flic hub. When I try to set the trigger in the Alexa app, an alert just says "This device is currently not supported." Please someone help me fix this πŸ™

        @Emil This is getting ridiculous. The problem still has not been resolved and your support email team are NOT replying me.

        If this product DOES NOT WORK OVERSEAS the. you should not be promoting it outside of the regions without proper testing.

        This is not a cheap product and have been patiently waiting for the team to work with me to get this working for a year now. If there is NO INTENTION for this to work outside of the US via Alexa then this should be highlighted or else this is FALSE MARKETING.

        To all users considering buying this for use (at least in Japan). This product DOES NOT WORK with Alexa.

          @Emil i received an update from Amazon Japan Alexa team. They said that Flic has found the problem and will fix this in the next release. Can you help share when the release will be so we can continue testing?

                @Emil

                Sure, UK based. Screen attached.

                Process is to got to skills in the Alexa App, search and click on Flic. Screen shown is then the one shown.

                Believe it may be an issue with not believe able to link directly from the Flic account. I think new security measures from Amazon mandate this. Flic.jpg

                  @richard-mead "skill no longer exists" does not sound as the same issue as "The device is currently not supported". What Alexa region are your account in and can you show a screenshot or video how you trigger that error message?

                      @gchen887 I saw the video. Still a bit confused why this happens because from what I can see, nothing in Amazon's documentation says that the Doorbell device type (which is what we use) would not be supported in Japan. I'll see if it's possible to get in contact with their support somehow... Please try you too if you want.

                                Can you please post a video instead showing all the steps you are taking? Maybe there is some piece missing.

                                I just checked our integration in Amazon's Alexa development portal and I can't find any setting that would restrict the skill to some specific region.

                                  @Emil any updates? I purchased Flic as it was advertised it would work globally with Amazon but so far I’m not able to use it. If it looks like this won’t be fixed in the short term, I will consider asking for a refund.

                                    @Emil It seems that many people in the Japan Amazon skill store have the same issue. I suspect it has to do with the skill. Here is a screenshot of some of the reviews showing the same issue

                                          Has anybody found a fix to this? I purchased the flic twist set recently and after following the video instructions, I was able to add the buttons to Alexa. However when I try to create a routine, I cannot select the buttons as I get this error.

                                          Currently have an amazon Alexa Japan account. Not sure if this helps.

                                            @emil I will second this problem. I also finally figured out how to connect this, but when attempting to create a Routine that responds to Flick Button Click, it gives me "Error - This device is not currently supported." I am also using the Flic hub.

                                            My location is Sydney, Australia. This issue is also urgent as it's for my 92yr old mother to use as an alert button in various rooms!
