Flic Light Single

Re: Flic single waste of money
Hey everyone, I bought 2x Flic Single Light buttons a while ago as I was hoping they would work with IFTTT. I have to say that I am quite disappointed. I am able to use them with Harmony and I've only recently bought a Hue starter kit and they work with that. I have some Yeelights and TP link bulbs and thought they would work with them too but unfortunately not. I found the Harmony setup to be quite buggy as things would just randomly turn off and this stopped when I deleted the Flic app. So far with Hue they've worked fine for the two bulbs that I've got. For the price that they retail at, they should allow users more flexibility in their smart home integration.

Hi! Sorry to hear you're having problems with Flic. Flic Single buttons are meant as an affordable version for controlling a specific set of tasks, in this case, lights. So they won't allow as much flexibility as the normal Flic buttons, but should work with the supported list of products: Philips Hue, Lifx, Harmony, Lightify, WeMo, Wink, Eon, Telldus and IKEA Trådfri.
Flic Single currently doesn't support direct integration with other lighting products but you can link them via IFTTT with a normal Flic. If you purchased Flic Single with the intention of using IFTTT we can still offer you a discount on the normal Flic or you can return your Flic Singles if it was a recent purchase. Just drop us a message with the details at support@shortcutlabs.com.
Also, if you keep on experiencing these bugs with the Harmony integration, it would help us if you described them to support.
I really hope this helps! Let me know if I can do anything else
P.S. If you have any more suggestions feel free to post them to http://ideas.flic.io/, where we look into integrating the most supported ideas

Or at least integrate them officially with Smarththings
