Hi, Any news on the FW update. It is getting very frustrating to tell my users to reset all the time. Is there a workaround to restart a module on an error?

@Emil I found the error: the .pem file on my server only had the server certificate, not the intermediate nor the root. The Flic Hub was the only client so far to throw an error because of this. I added the missing certificates and now it works just fine.

On a related note: for people issuing self-signed certificates, you may want to add the option of switching off certificate validation (as you have in the ui).

@emil I had it previously set up so my phone was on my guest network and so was the Flic Hub. I couldn't access the site on my computer because my computer was on a different network. So I had to change the Flic Hub to be on that network.

@alces as you can see on https://superuser.com/questions/1581627/where-is-my-lan-hostname-stored, hostnames on the LAN is not really a "basic feature of networking" since there are like four different "standards" for that. Currently, the only thing you should rely on is that you use a FQDN that the DNS resolver the DHCP server gives the hub will resolve.

@siobhanellis correct. Only the Hub LR of our hubs support Homekit, but all our hubs support Matter (as a controller).

It seems the issue doesn't affect all users. I my self can for example use the Alexa actions I set up previously, before their outage, successfully today without the need to re-enable the skill or re-setup anything.

Note that the http request containing the button press event that is sent to Alexa's server when a Flic button is pressed, sent from us, looks the same both before and after their outage, so if it suddenly doesn't work after their outage, it seems at least to me something has been broken on their end for you it doesn't work for. However, if you added an additional Alexa action during the time they had an outage, that action might not have been synced correctly so in that case you might need to remove the Alexa action and add it back in the Flic app.

I had the same problem, I forgot my iPhone screen passcode for long time, but my mother want use my old iPhone, I had tried DFU mode to unlock iPhone without password, but several times after, so complex, I turn to the Eelphone iPhone Unlock tool, with detailed guide, I unlocked iPhone finally. For anybody still looking for such a solution here's my contribution:

Mac Mini server 2010 running 10.13 + Hideez Smart USB Bluetooth-adapter works perfectly with Flic 2 (I use the button in universal mode to zoom and close windows since I use the mini as my media center).
It won't work with 10.12. The button pairs at first, but looses connection after a few seconds and does not execute any of the universal commands. 10.13 solved the problem!

Especially the terminal line so that it always uses the dongle and not the internal BT module.

@pociask Hi, we are testing every button at the production site including the battery voltage of the included battery, so we can assure you that no buttons leaving the factory have low voltage. The issues in this thread are related to issues we had with the old Flic 1 and are not relevant for Flic 2. In case a customer notices that the battery drains quicker than expected, we will of course send a replacement.
