It has been a few months, do we have any ETA on controlling the LED color states either from the app or preferably from the Hub SDK using javascript. This would make the buttons much more useful as they would be able to indicate if the actual busniess case / call succeeded and not simply a connection to the Hub. Please do let us know if this is planned and can be tested even if in a limited closed alpha. we would like to give it a try.

@eddieAnd_1 you can close the browser window and the program will continue to run. It's just the text editor and control panel.

@Emil: hello Emil.. I am sorry for coming back with all my strange problems..
Now: In the app settings on my Android-phone sorrily I can't find a "Submit debug log"..

But: There seems to be a strange time-delay between changing something at the Buttons and the change taking effect or showing up:

The one I wrote about yesterday misteriously disconnecting after some seconds now over night suddenly stays connected and works fine.. (Lights up green when pressed) The other one which worked yesterday I altered to Universal mode today to emulate a keyboard key.. - First it seemed to not accept the "store and disconnect"-action.. - It was not possible to connect it via Bluetooth to a laptop (..did not show up in the BT-list after pressing..).. - But after letting it alone for some hours it suddenly works as HID.. (blinking 2 times yellow when pressed)..

I would be happy to understand what is going on here..

@jasperruijsink When you connect a cable, you get an automatically assigned link local IP address, starting with 169.254. The DHCP server, typically running on a router, is then going to assign an available IP address to the hub. If it has no available IP address (i.e. it has run out of addresses) or otherwise doesn't give the hub one, the hub will stuck with its link local IP address.

The Hub LR runs https://github.com/NetworkConfiguration/dhcpcd, which is one of the most commonly used DHCP clients and should work with most routers or DHCP servers.

If nothing works, I suggest you to try another router, or factory reset the router and/or the Flic Hub.

@Emil thanks for the clarification. Yes you are right, for my purpose, scene blender is not the right choice instead I should use selecter.

@house I had my Ikea hub on a different VLAN then my Flic Hub LR and a firewall rule to drop all inter-VLAN traffic.

All fixed now!! 🎉

@Emil thanks! This would make flic buttons so much more useful for me - we bought a bunch on Black Friday but most are sitting idle due to this limitation. Looking forward to its release!!

@Emil The posts are a bit confusing. Am I to take it that you can’t program Twist to control Alexa volume at all? I can’t seem to have it respond to the twist motion. I can use the button to pause and play next track though.
