It was my fault. I did not realize that you had to set up the shortcut in Wink first. On the bright side, Sarah from Flic tech support just contacted me. Go Flic!

Actually,I would just like to start Google Voice so I can reply to messages hands free.

I think the only way to do 4 actions is to have something like a triple-click or double-click-and-hold.

You can only do 3 of those actions with the Flic :/. That's a great reason for adding more press types.

I would check to see how old they are. The first gen models cannot update the firmware and that might be why there's a price difference.

Tried it several times now and I can reproduce it with two different buttons (no "flic singles") on the new iPad Pro 10,5", on an iPhoneSE and on an iPhone6 all running iOS 10.3.2. Dunno if it helps but the buttons were bought from Amazon and are black and green. In my flic account settings stands "2.2.9".

Also the app always forgets my email (and password) what really sucks:-(
